oh well... "If you boot up a dual-core processor with Hyper-Threading and open Windows Task Manager you will find yourself staring at four graphs. This is where most of the confusion about Hyper-Threading doubling the number of cores come into play. I’ve even spoken with one poor fellow who thought he’d purchased a eight-core processor because he saw eight graphs in Windows Task Manager. That’s what the sales rep told him, so when he went home and saw eight graphs, he was hooked. Seeing was believing. Two graphs appear in Windows for each core on a Hyper-Threading processor because Windows is detecting two logical processors for each core. The term “logical processor” sounds fancy, but a logical processor is by definition a processor that has no physical existence. Windows can send threads to each logical processor, but there is still just one core doing the actual execution, so a single core with Hyper-Threading is dramatically different from two seperate physical cores." www.makeuseof.com/tag/hyperthreading-technology-explained/

What was the reason for taking out the motherboard? . You don't know Ayez as we do. So this seemingly innocuous question from you is forgiveable. However: Never ask the reason - it will have something to do with aliens who killed MJ being responsible for radioactive tooth decay in diseased cattle who are members of the Illuminati who invented something amazingly new- And he will explain that to you - at great length - and it'll get ugly. kkthankxbi lol, ok will keep that in mind. It's just something I normally ask first when someone says "I took this out"

Did you strip it to check for tiny aliens lurking behind the RAM? get knotted ya stupit wee nyaff! Now now!! No need to be snippy is it? The man was only trying to help. He can't be blamed for being about as much use as tits on a bull, now can he? NB: It has also latterly occurred to me my dear wee Scot that you do indeed seem to suffer from an inordinately large amount of bad luck. Did you once run amok in a Hall of Mirrors with a hammer or wot? Seems to me if it was raining palaces Bob you'd get hit with a shithouse door.

I BEG YOUR PARDON!!!!! It's a FKN hardware conflict thing It's supposed to be take apartable! It's not bloody welded or soldered together. It's MODULAR. I haven't broken any rules! No.You have not broken any rules. But you do however appear to have broken your computer. Just sayin'. I don't bloody think so HEN. Do you solder the TV to the wall when you plug it in? I don't think so! It's MODULAR, GEDDIT??? You don't see a plane falling out of the sky and someone says "oh you need to update the BIOS". You don't see bridges falling down and sopmeone says "oh you forgot to install a patch". You don't see exploding fridges everywhere. THEY bloody broke it. They release hardware that doesn't work and software that doesn't work. Bill gates gets away with releasing shit that doesn't work. And we just take it. Like a bunch of bloody saps we just sit here and take it!

No computers are not generally take apartable, however I applaud your new word. So with that concept, I can remove my kitchen from my modular house and not have any issues? Yeah I'm still laughing. See I don't take my shit apart and I never really seem to have that many issues with it. You take shit apart and 9.9 times out of 10 there is a part that never makes it back in. You've probably got some loose chip or screw rolling around on the floor hiding from you. Look, I KNOW what I'm talking about.

well either you broke it or it was THEM. You do have a bit of a fraught relationship with THEM. You should work on that. Don't thank me.
