I loved watching the mule tams work'n it up at horse pulls in Virginia. Don't have horse pulls in the Dakotas. A friend in VA had a jen called Sally, she could jump and follow the hounds in a fox hunt or pull select cut logs down the hollars by herself. If she got hung she would look over her shoulder and try geeing or hawing to free the log. If that didn't work she would bray like a stuck pig until someone came to rescue her and feed her an apple for her trouble.
If zombies existed, I'm sure Sally could handle them.

Ima go for Kangaroo Island I reckon. The fucking great whites that circle around there'll put paid to anything that tries to get across the water to us and there's a a lovely set of accommodations already set up for the environment volunteers....which means it will be pre stocked with all the necessary comforts for a long siege - food, , beer and hot young Irish back packers. great. zombie infected great white sharks...

Cutie that will work until one zombie gets clumsy and breaks a window. Then you're dead meat. And that would make me cry! Witchi is right about the mules, one in front of each window. Or the animal that knocked its baby down accidentally for the lions to eat. Now lions might work.....

Sorry, sorry. You're right, they're more commonly called American buffalo, but in my defence, two common names for the same animal.
Actually, upon reflection, the term "buffalo" may be considered a misnomer for this animal,it is only distantly related to either of the two "true buffalo",the Asian water buffalo and the African buffalo. The American bison is more closely related to the wisent or European bison.
Since it's binomial name is Bison bison,I'm going to stick with American bison.
