I know this subject is confrontational but hey we love to debate.
Constitutional Carry has won broad support from freedom loving
gunowners nationwide
No citizen should have to beg the government for a permit before
he or she can exercise their constitutional right to bear arms.
In 2011 the NAGR's played a key role in passing Constitutonal
carry in Wyoming. In Montana Constitutional carry passed both the State House and Senate. The NAGR's with allied level state
gun rights groups and Pro-gun forces nationwide, introduced
Constitutional Carry bills in 22 states this year.
NRA "A" rated politicians in numerous states and even an NRA
board member have joined the anti-gun crowd in opposing the
right to carry.
There are similar stories from all across the country. There are
many states that do not have concealed carry due to anti-gun
politicians.The NAGR is standing firm. Constitutional Carry will be
back in the very next Legislative season.

I have my concealed permit here in North Dakota, good in 27 states.
I have no problem with anyone getting one.
At least you know the person carrying isn't a violent felon or loony and that they've past a proficiency test.

I don't understand the conceal thing,if I could carry a gun,the last thing I would want to do is conceal it,I'd want everyone to know I have it so it can act as a deterrant. Prevention is better than bloody and final retribution.

A hip carry is a pain to work with, it's always in the way, snagging and getting dirty. I carry under my left arm and if someone wants a deterrent, all I have to do is open my shirt or jacket - which I've never had to do. In my part of the country, everyone assumes you're carrying unless you can prove otherwise. |

You won't get any opposing debate from me over this.
My little 38 goes in my purse, in the pocket with no cover or closure so I can get my hand in there without fumbling.
I've been in too many scary situations, a gun levels the playing field for someone that weighs in at less than 100 pounds.

When the constitution was written, the only arms people carried where muskets. Hard to conceal those puppies.
Over the years the constitution and the 2nd ammendment have been ammended and altered to the point they have no resemblance to what your forefathers intended.
In short, they are most likely the least important documents today.

I support right to carry, own, possess and shoot firearms. It's a very privileged position to be in. I wish we still had private firearm ownership. Not because I want to shoot anyone, but people are a lot more respectful around each other if they're packing. Or even if they might be packing. That's why us Brits are hard as nails in a fistfight, because no-one brings guns. |

Is it so politically correct now to bash America that everyone thinks they have the right and obligation to trash everything it stands for? Canada is our nearest and dearest neighbor, if the people of the US don't get control back who do you think the powers here are going to start looking at next? Canada has a lot of natural resources to exploit. |
