Yeah, I am also dependent on Disability income. The Republicans want to turn Social Security over to their Wall Street and banker buddies (the ones who damn near destroyed the global economy) for no other reasons than to curry political favors and to line their own pockets.

I don't like Obama, never had and I didn't like Bush. Here's the issue I have with Obama, he's a hypocrite. When he was running, he denied being Muslim even though there was some truth behind it. He called his grandmother a racist and then praised her for the job she did raising him. He's ignored his family (including a brother) in Africa. Then the latest is him flip-flopping on gay marriage. I'm sorry, I can't vote for him. My dad has said for a while now that we need to get rid of ALL of the politicians in DC and start fresh. All ANYONE in the Government cares about is the money. They don't care what the people want until it's election time. I still wonder if it would make a difference if EVERY person in the US would boycott and not vote. The idea of trying to get a united front is daunting. My dad HATES Roseanne, but when I told him that she was running, his exact words were: "she's probably the best option out there". And I love what was said in the movie V for Vendetta: "The Government should be afraid of its people, not the people afraid of its Government."

And I love what was said in the movie V for Vendetta: "The Government should be afraid of its people, not the people afraid of its Government." First: Obama is a democrate and Bush is a Republican...so what are your options? Obama a racist...that comment was made in 2008 and has been twisted to death. Listen to the actual comments...don't worry about the commontary from the narator in this vid, but listen to Obama's actual words. www.metacafe.com/watch/1188385/obama_calls_his_racist_grandmother_typical_white_person/I got to agree with him, how we are raised and where and when determines the way we relate to other people. And it's hard to break out of theat mold. He didn't flip flop on the gay issue. He very clearly stated that he has struggled with this issue on a personal level for a long time. His thinking on the later has evolved to the point he came now openly state he supports gay marrage. That's a big corner to turn. Give the man some props. And no disrespect towards your dad, but if he thinks Roseanne is the best option out there.......he needs to cut back on what ever drug he's taken. The man is delusional. Everyone blaims Obama, but he really has no power to do anything. The only power he does have is the right to veto any bill presented. All the policies and spending, that comes from your Congress. I have often wondered about this dislike for Oboma. I really do wonder if American's dislike him for his policies or because he's black. FRankly I believe the later.

Now ws you know we're not that stupid. If the voters didn't want him they wouldn't have voted for him. I didn't vote for him. My dad did tons of research on him during his election year that's why we didn't vote for him. He's made many promises with with no intention of fulfilling them. I think we're just tired of being lied to.

I have NO issue with him being black. My problem is that I am a pretty good judge of character and just listening to him talk makes me cringe. I get the impression that he isn't someone to be trusted.
As far as Roseanne, at least she has a SOLID plan of how to get us back on track, including taking the power out of the hands of the banks and the corrupted power hungry. And she's been in our shoes, she's not completely out of touch with reality. She's been living in Hawaii on a nut farm.......(insert joke here).....she's struggled almost as much as the "normal" people.

Hell, all politicians lie. Just that some do it better than others.
Every politician is going to make promises about changing policies or doing this that or the other thing. It's not until they get into office and find out the reasons things have been done in various ways (for national security) that can not be made public that they seem to flip flop.

To be fair I'm going to mention all my favorite men on TBC. ws, panther, Hatter and I could never leave out cutey pie witch magnet, I expect politicians to lie. It is part of their job descriptions. We need to change the job description, don't ya think, I wonder who wrote that in the first place?
