Son found something outside and thought it was a feather. But looking close it seems more like a plant. Anyone know what it might be? I have a couple pictures, but they are blurry as hell (my camera is very far from good). Will post them anyway, just in case it helps.

I had a feeling they were. Know any plants that might look feathery and blue?
my google searching is not being very helpful

Too obviously a leaf
This looks fluffy as a feather and the only thing that made me think plant was the stem and what seems like seeds near the middle

Getting closer looking at grasses. Pampas grass is kinda close, but not quite...

Try googling "ornamental grass".

Well R says that it isn't naturally blue but has been dyed. Thinks it probably came from some sort of flower arrangement.
So probably some type of ornamental grass is it.

You do not say what size it is , could be a dyed pussy willow . It could also be artificial .

I would have said pussy willow. I'm better with birds and animals, especially spiders.

It looks like something one would find in pot-pourri.
