I have no phobias whatsoever(that I have yet discovered anyway),no fear of heights,flying,spiders,snakes...,nothing. Yet everyone I have ever known has some sort of phobia.
So what is yours?

Clowns. The ones that look so innocent with their constant smiles. I just know that something is hiding under that, and that something isn't good.
Give me a so-called creepy clown any day.

That's a wonderfully weird show altogether.

I fear serial killers with lubed up curling irons and little boxes of roaches.

Hahaha some would argue that that's a rational fear.

Creepy is Pennywise or the Killer Klowns from Outer Space or....well I thought I had a pic around here I wanted to show but can't find it now. And I will be extremely pissed if it's gone missing because I don't know where to get it again :/

1) Ending up unable to get out of a wheelchair.
2) Being buried, even if dead.

I have an irrational fear of irrational fears. The very thought that I might develop a phobia sends me into a cold slice of boxing turkey sandwich. innit

I get vertigo, and I have a fear of falling--so bad that when I'm really afraid my legs start shaking and I stop being able to surefootedly move step by step--and I eventually fall. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

Spiders, which I think I have already mentioned.
Moving heights, structures or carnival rides that sway in the wind. The arch here in the Lou is a perfect example.
Closed spaces with limited access. Again the ride up the arch, perfect example.

I have this bad thing about being smothered. I don't know if it's technically irrational as (close your ears Rational Panther) I did get told that I was smothered in a previous life. I was told that by a woman I had never met before and who knew nothing of my deeply rooted fear of having my mouth and nose blocked or covered. So it may be a past life PTSD sort of thing. But I know it was a real pain in the arse while I was learning to scuba dive as the first two dozen times I got all the face mask gear on, even before I was in the water I felt trapped and panicky. It took me three attempts at being certified before I managed it. The pool training was horrendous and I had to word up my dive buddy instructor before the first open water dive that if I peaked out under there he ought to knock me out and resurface with my prone form. In the end though I was so entranced by the beauty of the silent pageant before me that I simply forgot to be afraid. And btw: a fear of clowns is far from irrational. They're creepy fuckers.

Slight fear of heights in very high places
Slight claustrophobia in seriously tight places, like caves that you have to crawl on your belly to get through
Some social anxiety, though that is getting better

I have a mild fear of heights. But I used to de-ice planes in a cherry picker, so I'm at least functional.
Hospitals freak me out too. I'm fine if I'm there for personal treatment, but when visiting a friend or family member, going down those long hallways is like walking the Green Mile.
