Oh what a load of bullshit. OK so she's possibly a horrible right wing little shit head...so what.
No one could possibly believe that a 16 year old child had any power to promote a political assassination. And you can bet your arse that whatever political opinions she has, she's been led to them by mum and dad.
How many times have people said about some public figure "I'd like to kill that cunt?"....why the fuck is it such an appalling, terrible, serious crime that she said it on Twitter about a politician?

And whoever that Obama-arse-licking fuckwit on The Daily Kos is who printed her info and incited people to go after her and harass her school and her community - that piece of shit ought to be hung out to dry.

I'm not a bit surprised that this happened. Children today are completely different than when I was a child. They are more interested in politics and damn brilliant. They are looking at where we are and where we used to be as a nation. I think they are very disappointed in adults and the choices that have been made. This is how she has chosen to rebell, though not the best of choices. She is now on Homeland Securities List. Kids today have Tweet, they have the internet and Goddess knows what else. Parents may have contributed to this or not. Not all parents are active in their kids lives. I protested about the vietnam war at 16yrs old. Of course it is sad that she had a thought like that, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Huge over reaction much? Stupid kids says some stupid shit. Well, that's what kids do. I've said much worse stuff than that before. (admittedly not on twatter) It's not really that big a deal.
What is a big deal is the disproportionate levels of hatred posted in responses. From adults. The mentality of the Lynch mob is never buried as deeply as you might think. And Obama isn't exactly Mr Popular, is he? She may, or or may not have a point, and she may or may bot be stupid mescalinehave a point.
And anyone who wants to send in the spooks, because they think she's dangerous,or in any way a threat to the President, has a seriously fucked up proccess.
.I suppose my point is, that the public in general, have no sense of proportion.

Hopefully it will blow over fast, her safety would be my worry.
I do hope they wouldn't put her in jail for that. Although an adult would be facing a charge of Treason, the penalty for Treason can be death.
Lets hope they go easy on her, it was probably a split second decision

Sure, she's probably just a stupid airheaded little 1percenter, so she should be allowed to get away with it? What kind of lesson would that teach? That it's okay to go around talking treason? Seriously? Personal accountability really should apply here, the stupid little twit needs to know that she'll be held accountable.

Since she is a minor, her parents could be held accountable.

Libtards piss me off to the max with the level of hypocrisy they display. What was said from their camp about Bush while he was in office? But now "their" guy is there it's all "respect the office of POTUS". I burned Howard, Blair and Bush in effigy at demonstrations on more than one occasion...set the fuckers aflame with all three flags as kindling.... and the same people who are screaming about how this kids "twatter" is treason cheered me on for doing it. Was it a dumb thing she did? Yes...because with the mental over reaction adults are prone to these days of PC bullshittery she was bound to end up in the shit for it.. But she has the right to Free Speech as much as anyone who opposes Romney does and to send in the Feds after a child who made a stupid emotion charged statement is a fucking criminal act if you ask me. Personally I think they ought to stack every fucking sitting politician in the world on a cunting great bonfire, with the media, clergy and mullahs as added fuel and we'd all be better off...now get the Homeland Security to rendition ME!!

I would feel the same way about someone that was trying to incite the assassination of Bush. Freedom of speech is one thing, inciting murder is an entirely different thing. So, we should just let this climate of hatred and divisiveness grow and grow? How are we, as a country, supposed to work TOGETHER to get ourselves out of this mess with this sort of thing going on? WE, the people of the United States, elected PRESIDENT Obama, we also elected PRESIDENT Bush, publicly calling for the assassination of the president of this country is treason, whether one is a 50 year old "libtard" or a 16 year old fucking republican. I don't really care what you do, burn effigies, burn our flags, we have more problems to worry about than hostiles in other countries symbolically murdering our leaders, but, be assured, if you came HERE and publicly called for the assassination of one of our leaders you would be sent packing. Again I say, just so we are clear, inciting murder is does NOT fall under the umbrella of freedom of speech. She can express her opinion of hatred all she wants, I hope her hatred eats her alive. She just can't deliberately try to get someone murdered.
