Major Charities are big business these days. Directors set their own salaries, lure in big name celebrities, provide tax breaks for affiliated sponsors, jobs for the boys, waste money on offensively dumb advertising campaigns, "Miles is a quiet baby, he knows if he cries, no-one will come" or "When you sponsor a dog, he'll write to you every two weeks" or "Send us two pounds a month, or we'll stamp on this kitten/starving baby/ panda cub". And if poor Mr Brown's generous bequest is a casualty of this Corporate attitude, well, that'll help pay for another series of "Animal fucking Hospital". Or help Bill Oddie with his "squirrel" issues.

This upsets me to no end. They were trusted and justified breaking that trust by selling the habiitat. They deserve a serious CURSE for that.

Yeah, they really showed "prevention of cruelty" to the animals that depended on that habitat, dint they? Go ahead Princess Bitch, curse away! I'm right behind you.

We used to sell wine for the RSPCA here. It wad presented as a great charitable gift. $350 for some appalling wine worth maybe $150 retail. I fought for almost two years to stop the company being involved with it. I had done the costings. People buying it were being left with the impression that they were making a $350 dollar donation. By the time the marketing, our cut and the admin cut got taken out, just under $35 was devoted to "welfare".
They have an appalling name amongst rural people here. They have done raid after raid on working sheep and cattle properties, seizing and destroying hundreds of working dogs, worth thousands each, claiming they were subject to cruelty. The breeding stock of working dogs those fools have wiped out doing this can never be replaced.
Working dogs are not kept like pets. They do not come inside. They are chained at night for their own good. They need to be up before the sun, following mobs across paddocks that go on for thousands of acres. If they were to spend the evening chasing after the myriad nocturnal critters that roam, not only the critters would be decimated, but the dogs would drop from exhaustion in the field the next day. And the lambs and calves they keep safe from foxes, feral dogs and raptors would be torn to shreds beside their prone forms.
And don't get me started on that fucking PETA mob and their programme against "crutching" sheep.
Anyone who has ever seen an Australian merino afflicted by fly strike for the want of being properly crutched knows what fucking suffering looks like! The RSPCA have taken up the bandwagon on that here.
I tell you what, if their suit clad officials got within cooee of a Cocky (landowner) here, the bastards would be shot and buried in the bush - and good riddance!

We're dealing with the same bullshit from them. They are trying to ban tail docking and dewclaw removal while trying to force mandatory spay and neuter laws! So, I can't dock a tail that has a 80 some percent chance of getting shredded in the field, forcing amputation, and at more than 5 days of age it is amputation, but I HAVE to have major invasive surgery done on all my dogs?! And don't even get me started on all the crap they try to lobby in to laws against our cattle, sheep and pig ranchers!
