Also, did you just look for a desktop shortcut or did you also check all programs for a .exe file?

I tried to download the ATI Cataylst Software Suite from here: sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-32.aspx. So I can use the Cataylst Control Center to fix a problem I am having with one of my games. However, when I download it, it installs nothing. No Control Center, nothing. I even went to the file directory and it was just full of empty folders with nothing in them. I have tried restarted, uninstalling, reinstalling everything. And nothing. Can anybody help? I Asked this on Yahoo answers BTW, the retard said that I should check to see if I an ATI Graphics card. -_- I'm not quite understanding the problem. I use CCC and get every new version that is released, every month or so. When you download it, are you saving it to some location on your computer? Or are you choosing to run instead of save in the download dialogue box? If you choose to save it somewhere and then navigate to where that is, there should be a self executing file that you merely need to double click to get it to extract and install. Of course, if you already have CCC installed and you are merely trying to install the latest version then you should uninstall the current version before installing the new one, preferably using Driver Sweeper in between.

Ok I will explain, I saved the file, I opened up the exe file, and installed it. BUT CCC is no where to be seen, I've looked. I've also looked this up and it seems that there are others having this problem, however none of their solutions have worked.

So you execute the file, which should look like an AMD logo, it installs but you can't find it anywhere? When you enter the install process and it asks you to hit 'ok' when it tells you the location it will install to (example C: Program Files\CCC) can you take a note of that location? Seems like a strange problem. Is it really installing? Does it say 'click done or finish to complete installation and then prompt you to restart?
If others have had this problem then your best bet is to probably install last months version which will be in the AMD archives. This one might be a bit buggy or somthing.

Yes it finishes the install, and there are files in the directory, but it's just a heap of files like "Setupmanager" and "ATISetup". There also Isn't a CCC folder, just ATI Technologies and ATI if that helps.

Are you allowing it to save as it wants or are you renaming it?

No I am allowing it to save as it wants. I am going to try an older version like spazmosis said to do.
