Nice to see the Republicans resolutely continuing to tell it like it is. . . . It's quotes like this that win elections. . . .

Although, Mitt Romney was one of the Repubs insisting he step down and not continue his re-election campaign.

I'm esp intrigued by the concept of "legitimate rape"
As opposed I guess to all the "illegitimate rapes" that those sluts go about reporting because they hate men and want attention.
eta: I also assume that when he says he got this gem from doctors, he is referring to Doctors of Theology graduates of such August institutions as Jerry Falwells Baptist College of Mediocrity and Manna....or maybe the Life Church of Louisiana which offers Doctoral Degrees online for no course of study at all and just $25 a pop.
I have a mate whose dog got one of those. They are defo a quality qualification - Tippi is the finest Reverend ever to wear a flea collar.

I've wondered about that myself, I kind of thought it might mean rape during marriage, as opposed to rape outside of marriage. Is it legitimate if you're married to the victim and illegitimate if you're not?

You're right Hatter rape is rape.We would probably be surprised by how many women are raped by their husbands. The fact that this man is running against Carnahan really distresses me. Carnahan is an idiot bitch and Akin has a brain that keeps him from having an original thought.I won't vote for either of them and I fear for Missouri in the Senate.

Ryan's Song
I'm the new GOP'er and I tell you I'm figuring That parts of the Govt should be biggering and biggering No slut will have fealty over her own genitalia. And to the rapists out there...my admin sure won't fail ya We'll make sure that unless it's a nun with alzheimers No slags shall cry "rape" without being called whiners Who just didn't know their own silly mind (And went about showing too much tempting behind.) So a poor fella mistook what signals she was sending. Well those foul women's rights we shall set about ending. When they're all in the kitchen, pregnant and ill shod. Then us men folk can once more kneel down and thank god.

If you let him yes! The Republicans have embarrassed me completely with their stupidity which they have in abundance. I say down with the Party's off with their heads and lets start over with some fresh meat. We don't need the Democrats or Republicans, revolution can't be to far ahead. Any private citizen with some brains can do their jobs. Lets find some.

In 1995, Republican Rep. Henry Aldridge told the House Appropriations committee:
In 1995, Delaware state Rep. Stephen Freind, (leading abortion foe) said . . The reason, he stated was because . . .
