Watching Truth or Consequences with Bob Barker before The Price is Right. The first Olympics, Mark Spitz swam in them.
Party phone lines, 10¢ payphones, before MTV, you took an extra dime in on Monday with your milk money and got an ice cream on Friday, cigarettes for 50¢ a pack....

When Nickelodeon was new, watching Saturday morning CARTOONS! I watched, ThunderCats, G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, and She-Ra. But also Rainbow Brite. How the Energizer Bunny got his start, the Noid of Domino's......ummmmm.....I'm an odd duck, I was listening to the music from the 50's-70's in the 80's.

Bugs Bunny, the Road Runner and Pink Panther cartoons on Saturday morning. The Muppet show BEFORE they were forced to tone it down, it was too "violent". 35 cents a pack cigarettes and 37 cents a gallon gas! And cigarette vending machines. Penny candy. Jaques Cousteau shows {the reason my mom made dad get us a color tv}. Laugh In! I was old enough to appreciate it. Collecting pop bottles and cashing them in for a nickel each. I bought a lot of penny candy with those nickels.

The only decent film Madonna ever made: Boy George being cool: (Well cooler than he became) Being so disturbed by 80's fashions that we staged a 60's revival by raiding mum's and auntie's wardrobes.
