Saw this today. Thought it fit well here WASHINGTON—In response to the shooting death of six Sikh worshippers at a temple in Oak Creek, WI yesterday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) offered a public expression of her thankfulness that no Americans had been killed in the rampage. "It's a relief and a blessing that not a single American died in this event," Bachmann said of the incident that claimed the lives of six Americans who practice the Sikh faith. "All of us can be grateful for that. Had the gunman targeted a church or synagogue, this violent act could have been much, much worse. There's no telling how many Americans might have died." Bachmann concluded by calling on citizens nationwide to direct all their thoughts and prayers to the family of wounded police lieutenant Brian Murphy, who was shot multiple times while rushing to help victims. firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/08/25/13480404

She is such a worthless excuse for a human. I hope Isaac picks ber up and drops her ass in the middle of anywhere the majority are muslims and no one speaks english. Maybe somewhere they'll circumcise her.

A congressional candidate running as a Republican in the upcoming Illinois primary says the "Holocaust never happened." Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolph Hitler's birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois' 3rd Congressional District. "As far as I'm concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews," Jones said. "It's the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV." "The more survivors, the more lies that are told." www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/29/art-jones-congressional-candidate-denies-holocaust_n_1310113.html

Now this is something I don't get about US politics. He isn't a member of the GOP, yet he's seeking to be their candidate....how does that work?
Here and in Britain of you want to be selected for candidacy for the Labour Party, or the Conservatives or the Greens or whatever - it's required by law that you're a registered paid up member of that party.
Why is it that every nutbag seems to be eligible to run for whatever party will have them there??
(He's got a point about Iran and Israel and nukes btw...not saying he's a nice bloke or the Holocaust denial is justified or anything, but he has a point there.)

Here if you can convince a party to let you run on its ticket, you're in.
As far as Iran and Israel, yeah, he makes a good point.

Last week, Paul Ryan gave an interview in which, defending his position that there should be no excuses for abortion, he referred to rape as a "method of conception." Wow, right? Talk about a benign euphemism. Rape -- RAPE! -- is now a "method of conception." You know, like love-making, just without the love. There could be no greater testament to the utter abdication of responsibility by what passes for a "news" media in America in 2012 than that, despite the grotesquerie of this cavalierly callous comment, chances are better than good that this is the first you're hearing of it. www.huffingtonpost.com/paul-slansky-/paul-ryan-said-something-_b_1832377.html?utm_hp_ref=tw

Rape is just surprise sex, innit?? Every gel likes a surprise, deep down.
Deep, deep down.
And if the slags didn't go about looking all womany and walking the streets without a male relative as an escort, they wouldn't be in harm's way anyway.
I'm telling you they are throwing this election too, because Obama is better at imposing the corporate agenda on people than a bunch of old white Christian men would be...people dont demonstrate against him in case it looks racist.

In context it actually does make some sense even if it was terribly worded.

Well yeah obviously rape is one means by which a pregnancy can occur. But to have phrased it that way is proof positive of the utter contempt these men have for female autonomy over their bodies, innit?
And I am far from convinced it was just clumsy phrasing. If you ask me it was carefully considered phrasing. These fuckwits speak in a code that the retard bottom feeder element who compose the GOP base these days understand loud and clear - and that statement is right out of Chapter One of that code book....."women who get raped were probably asking for it and have no right to whine after the fact".
....that's what it meant to the audience he was delivering it to. Quite what the Huffington Post readers thought of him for it meant fuck all from nothing to him.

They need to at least get on the same page about this subject, first they say that a woman's body secrets certain secretions that kill sperm so rape victims rarely get pregnant, then they say it's a "form of conception". So, which is it? Shit, they need to get their goddamned stories straight!

Oh, it gets even better... The Republican congressman, already under fire for his controversial comments regarding rape, told a reporter for Cape Giradeau's KBSI 23 News that "female breastmilk - when fed directly to an adult homosexual male daily for at least four weeks - has a 94% chance of permanently curing homosexual perversions." {snip} "This may surprise you Jeff, but I don't think homosexuality is a choice. We evangelicals, we know that it's a disease. But the good news is - we have the cure." Akin then explained, "The National Institutes of Health has treated hundreds of young men through clinical trials at their headquarters in Maryland. They don't want the public to know because the secular liberal elites have succeeded in brainwashing the public into believing that homosexuality is a positive thing." "We now know how to purge men of sin and put them on a path towards god. Why can't every gay man in America have that knowledge? Just 4 weeks of live breastfeeding can cure them of their terrible suffering. Why aren't we talking about this?" Somewhat dumbfounded by the brazenness of Akin's pronouncement, the reporter then asked if this supposed treatment only worked on men. "Lesbians can be cured by drinking something else," Akin replied "I'll leave that one to your imagination." dailycurrant.com/2012/08/26/todd-akin-claims-breastmilk-cures-homosexuality/

I can just imagine the conversation about HOW to get the breast milk. And the ads!!!!! The "Got Milk?" campaign just got X-rated!!!
I'll donate breast milk to gay men if it'll get me some type of interaction with men. Maybe we can use breast milk to cure AIDs, and men of stupidity/douchebagness/child abuse and any other "negative" disease. OMG
