I don't think the intended use for this machine is to eradicate germs completely, but I can see the potential where cleanliness is vital, in places where it might not be easy to achieve it...

All the herbal talk, I mean.
I've become spoiled since returning to NorCal. It's partially legal statewide, on the books, and the locals and the state won't even enforce the part when it's not legal.
The mayor of the city I live in continued a local tradition when he was sworn in -- he renewed an ongoing instruction to the cops to place herb law enforcement as the lowest financial priority.
Across the Bay, Mayor Jean Quan of Oakland, the near-murderess of Occupy demonstrators, found time back when she was running for office to appear for photographs with local weed entrepreneurs.
The only trouble is Obama's federal DEA that comes in and attacks the dispensaries, steals the patient files, and bashes up the offices, and the IRS who goes after the growers, etc.
I remember frightening meetings with unknown rednecks in alleys behind trailers in towns you may have never heard of in backwoods Florida.
Now a friend picks it up on his way home from the supermarket. What he brings me is weighed, labeled, sealed, and sometimes even has a damn brand name logo.
I don't even think about it anymore -- it's like coffee or chewing gum.
I never imagined this when I returned to NorCal.
It's like I'm not in Obamaland or Bushville -- it's almost civilized.

I just saw this and I thought it was cool.. www.iop.org/news/12/apr/page_54993.htmlIt's a handheld plasma flashlight that is capable of killing germs and pathogens from yous skin in an instant. "The device could be used in ambulance emergency calls, natural disaster sites, military combat operations and many other instances where treatment is required in remote locations." Feck me ! Its a Remmington bug away! I was so impressed that I threw it in the wheely bin.
