Nah,according to neuroscientists, dreams mean very little,it's just imagary that the mind plays when the brain is in REM sleep. I'm not talking about meaning or deep significance. I mean the way the mind has apparently stored so much detail of, for instance people you haven't seen for years, and can recall them as if they were for all intents and purposes real. Apologies Phil,I should use the qoute thingy,I wasn't commenting on your post,I was commenting on Storm asking me whether I thought my nightmare means I view babies as predators.

Isn't it incredible how your mind can conjure up vivid details in dreams? Not just the spiders - I bet you couldn't recall your parents so well in waking life. I sometimes dream of my long-gone parents, and they are there as real as when they lived, their faces, theirs mannerisms and above all their voices - all of which I would struggle to remember while awake. I think you know what kind of tarantulas they were : I know what you mean about the detail. I could smell the steaks cooking - my dad was a dab hand at a barbie - none of your charcoaled rubber boot soles came off his hotplate. Mum was even in the background tossing a salad with the salad servers she had got for her wedding gift and dragged out on every occasion she could. My dad comes to me lots on dreams but he's usually a very reassuring, loving presence. I had this bad feeling all through this one that was just like "wtf: why aren't you worried about me getting bitten?"lol But then looking at the spiders close up through the lens I was just as fascinated by them as he and there was no fear. Odd. Yes I am . HAIRY JAPANESE BASTARDS!!! (I love this Jack quote btw)
